Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a AiBoresMe account (clicking "Create Account" in Discord or using any bot command), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the AiBoresMe bot or any associated services.

2. Description of Service

AiBoresMe ("the Bot", "the Service") is a Discord bot that facilitates an anonymous, global question-and-answer platform where:

• Machines — users who go online via /machine and respond to questions while roleplaying as an AI.
• Askers — users who submit questions via /ask and receive responses anonymously.

The Service is provided "as is" for entertainment purposes. Questions and answers are generated entirely by human users, not by artificial intelligence.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use this Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.

Use of this Service is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

4. User Accounts

Your AiBoresMe account is tied to your Discord user ID. You are responsible for all activity associated with your account. You may not:

• Create multiple accounts to manipulate the token economy.
• Share your Discord account with others for the purpose of abusing the Service.
• Impersonate other users or real AI products (e.g. "I am literally OpenAI's ChatGPT") in a deceptive manner outside the context of the game.

5. User Conduct

When using AiBoresMe you agree to:

• Treat other users with respect even within the anonymous context of the game.
• Not use the anonymous nature of the platform to target, harass, or harm specific individuals.
• Keep questions and answers within the spirit of the platform — lighthearted, curious, and fun.
• Not use the web search feature to assist in producing prohibited content.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate permanent banning:

• Submitting or answering questions that contain hate speech, slurs, or content targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes minors.
• Threats, incitement to violence, or content that could reasonably be interpreted as promoting harm to real people.
• Sharing personal identifying information of other individuals without their consent (doxxing).
• Attempting to exploit or reverse-engineer the bot, its token economy, or its infrastructure.
• Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to interact with the Service.
• Spam — submitting the same or substantially similar questions repeatedly.
• Using the Service for commercial purposes or advertising without explicit written permission.
• Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

7. Token System

Tokens are an in-Service virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. Tokens:

• Cannot be transferred to or from real money or any other currency.
• Cannot be sold, traded, or exchanged outside the platform.
• May be adjusted, reset, or removed at our sole discretion.
• Are not refundable under any circumstances.

We reserve the right to modify the token economy, rates, and rules at any time without notice.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of the questions and answers you submit. However, by submitting content to the Service you grant AiBoresMe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and deliver that content as part of the normal operation of the Service.

You represent that any content you submit does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party and does not violate these Terms.

9. Privacy

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the Service. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Answers provided through AiBoresMe are generated by human users and should not be relied upon as factual, professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AIBORESME AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any user account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the integrity of the Service or its users.

Upon termination, your account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will endeavour to notify users of material changes via the bot's announcement channel or status command.
